I'm researching what a fair price is for a 2001 Excursion limited with a blown V10? Its a one owner who was a grandma that bought it brand new at the local Ford dealership and put 119,000 miles on it before a spark plug shot down into the block and burned a hole in it.

The leather is in great shape from front to back except for some small cracking in the drivers seat (she isn't a big lady). The Michelin tires have 3000 miles on them and brakes were done 19,000 miles ago when she replaced the shocks. Paint is in great shape with no body work needed. No aftermarket parts or accessories to worry about some hack mechanic screwing things up.

Long story short, this car would fall under the "Good" Blue Book value if it had a motor. Let me know what you think or if its even worth buying and replacing the V10.

Thanks
