Hello everybody,
I just purchased a 2000 Ford Excursion 4x4 7.3 diesel with 280k miles.

The owner told me about some if the problems but geesh, they are weird!!!
Here's what's going on....
Before starting, turn the heat/ac switch in "off" position.
Insert ign key, turn to on to charge glow plugs, start truck.
Truck starts as normal, no issues.
Turn signals work as expected at this point.
Turn heat/ac selector switch to any setting and it blows out the defrost.
Now try turn signals, nothing. Turn signals not working!
Turn heat/ac switch to "Off" and blower motor keeps running.
In "Off" position the turn signals work again!
Turn selector to heat or ac, turn signals don't work again.

How are we the turn signals tied in to the heat/ac switch???

Anyone ever experience this???
